Chondroitin Sulfate (CS) is one class of glycosaminoglycans (GAGs) consisting of N-acetylgalactosamine and glucuronic acid. It is a natural substance used for the treatment of osteoarthritic conditions. Predominant sources are bovine trachea, porcine skin and rib cartilage, and shark cartilage.
