Description

Iminodisuccinic acid sodium salt (IDS) is a highly effective and biodegradable complexing agent that outperforms conventional agents like EDTA and NTA. It excels in chelating iron, copper, zinc, calcium ions, and is completely biodegradable. IDS finds applications in micro-element fertilizers, industrial and household cleaning products, and detergents.

In agriculture, IDS chelate fertilizer offers significant advantages over citric acid. It enhances nutrient utilization, making it a safe and efficient choice for supplementing microelements in crop growth. IDS chelate fertilizers improve plant physiological functions, increase crop yields, and enhance agricultural product quality.

IDS is readily soluble in water and easily absorbed by plants without antagonism, making it an ideal alternative to EDTA in fertilizers and pesticides.

As a green and water-soluble complexing agent, IDS is a new generation, biodegradable water treatment chemical with excellent chelating properties. It forms strong complexes with metal ions through both nitrogen and carboxyl groups, offering exceptional efficiency.

Application:
1) IDS can be used in cotton bleaching processes with hydrogen peroxide, preventing catalytic decomposition of the bleaching agent by complexing iron and copper ions.

2) IDS is effective for cleaning hard surfaces when combined with surfactants. It's suitable for cleaning membranes, floors, glass, and in car shampoos.

3) Due to its biodegradability and complexing abilities, IDS can be used as a water softening ingredient in household detergent formulations.

4) IDS serves as a medium-strong water-soluble chelant for metal cations, suitable for various applications, including bleaching, water treatment, printing and dyeing processes, scale deposit removal, water softening, and stabilizing bleaching agents.
